The 1970 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship was the 40th staging of the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1928. The championship ran from 16 May to 6 September 1970.

Cork entered the championship as the defending champions.[1]

The All-Ireland final was played at Croke Park in Dublin on 6 September 1970 between Cork and Galway, in what was their third meeting in the All-Ireland final overall and a first meeting in 19 years. Cork won the match by 5-19 to 2-09 to claim their 10th All-Ireland title overall and a second title in succession.[2][3][4]
