Summary

Description
English: A scaffolding structure built around NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE, allows engineers full access to the spacecraft while its hydrogen coolant is being frozen. The WISE infrared instrument is kept extremely cold by a spherical tank filled with the frozen hydrogen, called the cryostat. The cryostat enclosure can be seen at the top of the spacecraft.
