Print. Portrait of a man and a woman, inhabitants of Easter Island. A woman, on the left, wears a cloth wrap skirt. The man, on the right, has tattoo markings on his face, arms and legs and wears a cloth cloak, and plant leaf loin cover, and plant leaf hair ornament. Banana plant in the background. 1822.

It is believed that this print was bound together (see holes on side and/or top of print) alongside other prints by Louis Choris, which are now part of the BM Pictorial Collection.
