Summary
| Description | English: Internal forces in a continuum body. The continuum is divided into two portions by a surface S which encloses an arbitrary volume of the continuum. The action of the external portion on the internal portion produces an equipollent or equivalent force and moment distribution on a differential surface on S. The stress vector T is define as the differential force over the differential area S as the latter tends to zero. |
