Россия. Санкт-Петербург. Благовещенская усыпальница. Граф, государственный деятель, дипломат, воспитатель Павла I (с 1760 г.), почетный член Петербургский Академии наук (1776). С 1747 г. состоял посланником в Дании и Швеции. Участник дворцового переворота 1762 г., возведшего на престол Екатерину II. В 1763-1781 гг. руководил Коллегией иностранных дел. В 1797 г. Павел I (уже после смерти Екатерины II) смог увековечить свою признательность Н.И. Панину, воздвигнув ему памятник в церкви св. Магдалины в Павловске. Архитектурно оформленный притвор со скульптурным памятником. Скульптор И.П. Мартос (1754-1835), архитектор Д. Кваренги (1744-1817), 1780-е гг. Надпись: "Граф Никита Иванович Панин друг человечества родился в 1718 году сентября 15 дня предводительствовал 20 лет политическими делами приобрел колену своему графское достоинство и имел доверенность воспитать наследника престола Всероссийскаго скончался в 1783 году марта 31 дня". День рождения 15 сентября (по старому стилю). День памяти 31 марта (по старому стилю). |
