| Description | English: The transcriptional attenuation of the trp operon involves the formation of mRNA stem-loops. Deutsch: Die transkriptionelle Attenuation des trp-Operons ist verbunden mit der Ausbildung von Haarnadelstrukturen der mRNA. Bei hohem Trp-Spiegel bildet das Ribosom rasch das Leader-Peptid und zieht nach Region 2, womit die Struktur 3:4 entsteht, das Signal zur Termination. Bei niedrigem Trp-Spiegel wird das Leader-Peptid in Region 1 verzögert gebildet, wodurch die Struktur 2:3 möglich wird und so die vollständige Transkription. |
