George Thomas Stahel Farmer (born 15 December 1989)[2][3] is a British-American entrepreneur and businessman.[4] He is the former chairman of Turning Point UK and the former CEO of Parler and Parlement Technologies.[5] He is the son of Michael Farmer, Baron Farmer,[6] as well as the husband of American content creator Candace Owens.[7]

Biography

[edit]

Farmer attended Oxford, where he earned a degree in theology.[8] While there, he was a member of the Bullingdon Club.[9][10] Farmer also attended St Paul's School, London.[11]

He took over as CEO of Parler, and its parent company Parlement Technologies, in May 2021.[12] It was during Farmer's tenure as CEO when Kanye West tried to take over the social networking service.[13] In April 2023, it was announced he would step down from his role as CEO.[14][15][16]

Farmer proposed marriage to Candace Owens via a FaceTime call on 29 December 2018, 18 days after meeting each other for the first time in London,[17][18] and married in 2019 in Trump Winery.[19] They have four children[17][20] and reside in Nashville, Tennessee.[21][22] Farmer is a Catholic.[23]
