Getting Killed is the upcoming fourth[a] studio album by American rock band Geese. It is scheduled to be released on September 26, 2025, through Partisan Records and Play It Again Sam, as the full-length follow-up to their 2023 album 3D Country, as well as frontman Cameron Winter's 2024 solo album Heavy Metal.[1] It has been preceded by the single "Taxes".
Background
[edit]Getting Killed was produced alongside Kenny Beats.[2] It was recorded over a ten-day period and has been described as "shambolic in structure but passionately performed", with the band "[balancing] a disarming tenderness with an intensified anger".[3][4] The album's lead single, "Taxes", was released on July 8, 2025. The song's music video has been described as containing "a hallucinatory rush of moshing, screaming, and violence that feels akin to an exorcism".[5]
On June 23, 2025, the band announced a North American headlining tour in support of the album. The tour is scheduled to begin in South Burlington, Vermont on October 10, and conclude in Brooklyn, New York on November 21.[6]

Notes
[edit]- ^ While this album is advertised by Geese as their third, and is their third under a record label, it is technically their fourth studio album counting their since-removed 2018 debut album A Beautiful Memory.
