Hakladi is a village in the Kundapur taluk of Udupi district. As of 2011, Hakladi has a total population of 2883 people consisting of 1711 male and 234 female residents. The village occupies a total area of 613.61 hecatres with a population density of 4.698 people per hectare. As of 2011, the total literacy rate was 67.4% which was higher than the national average of 59.5%.[1]
