"I Was Such a Fool (To Fall in Love with You)" is a song written by Michael Canosa and Danny Stradella and performed by Connie Francis.[1] In 1962, the track reached No. 8 on the U.S. adult contemporary chart, No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 32 in Canada.[2][3] "He Thinks I Still Care" reached No. 26 the next week on the Canadian charts.[4]
Other versions
[edit]The Flamingos released the original version of the song as a single in 1959. It reached No. 71 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1960.[5]
