@Wabbuh- may I recommend Commons:File:Andrew Jackson A13734.jpg, from the National Gallery of Art, instead of the similar Sully that was painted 12 years later, from the U.S. Senate collection? Both are posthumous images based on an earlier (possibly now lost) portrait painted from life but the 1845 image was created closer to Jackson's lifetime and is the basis for the familiar portrait of Jackson on the US$20. Just a suggestion (worth what you pay for it LOL) Cheers, jengod (talk) 18:37, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I don't see why not! Higher resolution, more famous, etc. I completely missed it when looking at portraits. Nice catch and good suggestion, Jen! I'll add it now! Thanks! :) Wabbuh (talk) 19:17, 16 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
