Template talk:Christian culture

The formatting is wrong

[edit]

The formatting messes with built-in Wikipedia formatting. When a template is added to an article on a subject, that subject is marked in bold, but the way this template is formatted, that isn't possible. Also, MOS:HEADING is broken where headings are linked. There are probably other problems, but I'll just stop there and wait for others to comment. Painful

Aughhh! My eyes! Editor2020, Talk 02:51, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. True the colors need to be less harshness and background color easier on the eyes. I will try to change the background color.--Jobas (talk) 03:05, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know that it will help. There are a lot of problems here. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:46, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for you'r concern but the Template look was changed. The user:Tahc helping in improving the Template and the new one it's much better.--Jobas (talk) 10:29, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not enough. For instance, Christian Music is now piped to just "Music" and it's a heading so it's not at all clear that it's in the template.
The fact that this template was created and applied without discussion is a similarly large problem. Walter Görlitz (talk) 15:35, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Rather Music is piped to Christian Music. I think headings here for Art, Music, etc. are better than headings that say Christian Art, Christian Music, etc.
Pages, even templates, are normally created without discussion and then discussed afterward on said talk pages. I am not sure just what you would do/discuss differently. tahc chat 18:23, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And so, because it's piped and a heading, it's not obvious that it's in the template. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:58, 11 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
