the type 94 is not yet in service with the PLAN. Please stop adding it to the in service template without a citation that it is actually in service.

Type 094 subs are already in service in 2008 (the first 2), and 3 more are under construction. Many sources said so. (Alice Muller (talk) 10:08, 2 August 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Even the estimation from Dep. of Def. (USA) shows: In its 2008 assessment of China's military, the United States Department of Defense estimated that one Type 094 "may soon enter service" (within 2008!), and that "up to five" would be in service by 2010.^[1](Alice Muller (talk) 10:12, 2 August 2009 (UTC))[reply]
