Template life[edit]

I noticed that some surname dab pages contain clumsy mismatched "See also" lists, so I started these surname-templates for uniformity. - Altenmann >t 05:44, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Generating links to disambiguation pages[edit]

@Altenmann: This template is currently causing a lot of incoming links to the Biryuk, Borisov, Kurtoğlu, Susi, Wolfs, and Wulff disambiguation pages. This, in turn, causes DPL bot to tag the disambiguation pages with {{incoming links}}. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Leschnei (talk) 18:27, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a problem common to all navigation templates I pointed 10 years ago already. But apparently nobody is bothered with this. You may want to raise this issue with bot developers: it must ignore links coming from transcluded templates. - üser:Altenmann >t 06:57, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
