New DEFCON Bot

[edit]

Hey Dbeef, thank you so much for the new defcon bot.

Just wanted to point out, do you think it is a better idea to have the defcon status page (currently at User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon) to a more centralized page, potentially Wikipedia:Vandalism information/defcon or something like Wikipedia:Vandalism information/status? In my opinion it would just make things look more smooth-flowing. What do you think? Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 14:50, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Myrealnamm, I don't have a preference on the title, but a change like that requires changes to all pages that link to it. It currently works fine so idk. dbeef [talk] 09:03, 8 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Understood, thanks. Also, was EnterpriseyBot disabled? If so we should change the status. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 23:07, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Interference with EnterpriseyBot?

[edit]

I just noticed EnterpriseyBot somehow turned back on a few days after you started DeadbeefBot's updates to User:EnterpriseyBot/defcon. It's not really a huge issue, but I find it weird that two bots are updating the Vandalism information template simultaneously. Perhaps there's a way to disable the EnterpriseyBot task since DeadbeefBot is superseding it in a way? Jalen Barks (Woof) 21:19, 20 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
