Question from Tchusca Songo (11:07, 14 May 2024)[edit]

hey is possible to write article about myself thank you --Tchusca Songo (talk) 11:07, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You can do this, but it is very strongly discouraged. If you do decide to write an article about yourself, you must declare that you have a conflict of intrest with the article. It is also recomended that you sumbit the article to articles for creation, instead of creating it directly. For more info, see WP:AUTO. Question from Arminkhan31 (15:41, 14 May 2024)[edit]

How to download a artical from Wikipedia --Arminkhan31 (talk) 15:41, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. On desktop there is a section on the left side of the screen called print/export. This section has the option to download a page. I do not know how to download a page on mobile. Hope this helps. Happy editing! GrayStorm(talk|stalk me) 23:34, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback[edit]

Hi GrayStorm. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:

  • Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [Rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision - that's all. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the rights will be revoked.
  • Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Fastily 21:28, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pronouns[edit]

Kindly asking, but what are your personal pronouns? The software indicates that you have selected feminine pronouns ("she/her", but on your user page, it says, "he/him"). Just curious. If you reply here, please ping me. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 02:10, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@TheTechie: Hello. I'm currently trying out fem pronouns, I just forgot to change my user page. I might change it again in the future, so a peice of adivice: For me, please uses whatever the software says, as Im more likely to remember to update that then my user page. (sidenote, is there a template that just inserts whatever the software's selected pronouns are?) GrayStorm(converse|stalk me) 02:25, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! I have just made a template for this purpose (User:TheTechie/autopronouns), which will automatically return pronouns based on your gender set in the software. I have applied it to your user page (using arguments based on the edit where you manually changed your listed pronouns, but you are free to change the arguments I provided).
A few more things to note:
  1. You can supply two more pronouns as arguments (for example, if I used {{User:TheTechie/autopronouns|she}} with my account, it would return "they/them/theirs (also fine with she/her/hers)".
  2. Note that the additional arguments aren't checked against your account setting. So if you pass in "he" as an argument and your account is set to "male", it'll show "he/him/his" twice.
Hope this helps.
  1. Please do not subst the template, it breaks the template.
Any more questions, please ping me. Any feature requests, please leave them on the talk page of the template. I will be watching. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 03:07, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
