Speedy deletion nomination of File:British Ice Skating logo.png

Hello, Minorax,

I am looking for a bit of advice for a file you recently tagged, File:Hamilton LRT Logo.jpg

I asked on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions regarding in what circumstances logo reproduction (under PD) would be appropriate, as in GO Transit and Metrolinx, and what the best course of action would be for my use case. Unfortunately I did not receive a response.

The tags you placed on the image seem to indicate you may believe the image to qualify as free by Wikimedia standards. I was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction of determining that. Additionally, there was a tag for SVG. I don't believe an SVG equivalent is publicly available, Metrolinx has only used this logo for their social media and on public promotional posters. There is no embedded SVG on the project's website. If a recreation is acceptable for this use, I have created one in Inkscape that's ready for upload.

Any help is appreciated, and thank you for your time! In the meanwhile I will put the current 'non-free' logo on its page. JaredTamana (talk) 23:56, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
