This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.
If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none
parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

Grade I listed buildings in Oxford - images
[edit]I've been doing a bit to flesh out/tidy up the Grade I listed buildings in Oxford list. The good news is that every entry is now bluelinked, either to a standalone article, or to a sub-section within another article. The immediate outstanding issue is that we are missing about a dozen images. The majority are of particular sections of college quadrangles. They should be relatively easy to source if:
- (a) - an editor has access to said colleges;
- (b) - said editor knows at which bit of the quadrangle wall they should point their camera/phone.
There are also a few, more obscure, bits of the city walls and one or two others. If any editors meet the criteria above, I'd greatly appreciate images to fill any of the gaps. KJP1 (talk) 11:28, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- I have added an existing image based on similarity with the image at Historic England. TSventon (talk) 13:24, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
- Excellent, many thanks. so Brasenose is off the list. This easily has the makings of an FL. KJP1 (talk) 13:37, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
