X-SAMPA - Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
X-SAMPA is a way of writing the International Phonetic Alphabet with only ASCII characters. For example, the word hello is written in IPA as /hɛloʊ/ and in X-SAMPA as /hEloU/.
