Greetings[edit]

I like your name and tatse in music. I also respect what you are going through seeing as how many of your logos have been removed. I, too, have uploaded many many logos only to have them removed now. What do you think about this whole logo debate? Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 22:08, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, good luck. If you ever need my help with anything let me know. I wouldn't worry too much about having the logos backed up, though. Metal-archives.com is my best friend for logos. They have everything. Blizzard Beast $ODIN$ 23:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ukases of 1799 and 1821[edit]

Hi; "met you" at the Canadian crisis page, by your username I was expecting an Icelander and found a Siberian instead LOL....in another topic area entirely I've been trying to research, and also procrastinating on writing, articles on the Ukase of 1799 and the Ukase or 1821, which are background to the Alaska boundary dispute and related articles...I don't know what your other interests are, but your native Russian would be a great aid to finding research on these items, or maybe writing a Russian-language article for each which could then be translated to English as an interwiki - ? - msot of what's in English about them concerns the Russian America boundary, although I know that both had religious clauses, some relating to the rights of the Orthodox Church in Russian America, but there were hundreds of clauses, maybe most not to do with Russian America at all. Do you know anything about all this, or am I barkign up the wrong tree? If you don't know about Wikipedia:WikiProject Russian history there's the link for it....if it's of interest to you that is. I see you're into Babylon 5, which I used to watch all the time, and while I'm not exactly a metal player you might like some of my tracks on http://www.myspace.com/tamanasshiyu.....Skookum1 (talk) 15:08, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Hey there, can I ask what you think of this? {{Falsification of history}} --Russavia Dialogue 16:38, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the comment about making things more comprehensive and that NPOV, etc is not within what people are doing. It does make it hard though when other editors come along, because then they are made out as the POV-pushers, instead of the other way around. The title itself is reason enough to take it to TfD I think. Anyway, thanks for replying on my talk page, I've closed that discussion, I have a low tolerance of boredom, etc as you may well be able to understand. --Russavia Dialogue 15:21, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I've just checked Leonov's article on ru_wiki, and they say it's the one in Tisulsky District. I've made the corrections accordingly (a reference still would be nice, of course). I've also converted Listvyanka into a set index, and listed all four places in Kemerovo Oblast. And no, four is not a nightmare—it's when we have two (or more!) villages by the same name in the same oblast/district/selsoviet, that's when we need to get creative to distinguish between them :)—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 17:51, May 29, 2009 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sade et Masoch requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Orphaned non-free image File:Irond.svg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Irond.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:21, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Second Skin of Harlequin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Album by non-notable band, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Illnath

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

And same with one more album by Illnath Cast into Fields of Evil Pleasure.

Non-free rationale for File:Saboteurs2.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Saboteurs2.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:39, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
