Adding categories about keys songs are composed in[edit]
Hi. Just so you know, this information should be sourced in the prose of the article before adding it as a category. Even if this information is factual, it needs to be cited in the article before it can be added as a category. It is not readily apparent to most readers, and by extension most editors, which key a piece of music is composed in unless they have experience with musical composition, so it can be considered contentious material. Please consider undoing these edits you have made, and not making them in future unless there is accompanying prose stating the song was composed in that key. Hi Telex80 - I'm a volunteer at the help desk, and another editor posted there that your edits show a limited command of the English language. For example, this edit [[1]] introduced a section of text that makes no sense. Since adding poorly written content only degrades the encyclopedia and makes more cleanup work for others, I'd like to kindly ask that you refrain from editing English language articles for the time being.
